Operations Manager – 3PL/Special Handling Network

About the role

Amazon is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the performance of its third‑party logistics (3PL) network in the UAE and broader MENA region. You will ensure that external fulfillment partners meet Amazon’s high standards for cost, capacity, and customer experience while driving continuous improvement across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and control performance, cost, and capacity of external 3PL providers.
• Monitor customer experience and delivery metrics, maintaining KPIs and SLAs.
• Lead major projects in MENA Operations Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Transportation to support growth.
• Drive process improvements and cost‑optimization initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
• Optimize import container flow in collaboration with Amazon Global Logistics.
• Participate in contract negotiations with fulfillment partners.
• Prioritize projects and software feature requests, setting stakeholder expectations.
• Develop communication processes to ensure accurate information flow across Retail and external teams.
• Travel up to 40% to 3PL sites and Amazon facilities across the UAE and MENA.

Required profile

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
