Operations Manager – Manufacturing Plant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day activities of our lubricant and grease manufacturing plant in Dubai. The role ensures safe, efficient and cost‑effective operations across all functional areas while collaborating closely with production, planning, quality, finance and commercial teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee overall plant operations and maintain operational readiness.
• Coordinate with Production and Planning to meet production schedules.
• Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging, equipment and manpower.
• Manage procurement, supplier performance and material availability.
• Supervise stores, warehousing, inventory accuracy and SAP transactions.
• Handle logistics, export container bookings, dispatches and vessel scheduling.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance programmes for plant equipment.
• Monitor utilities, infrastructure and energy consumption.
• Work with HSE to guarantee safety and regulatory compliance.
• Promote SAP Business One discipline, operational dashboards and KPI tracking.
• Identify cost‑reduction opportunities in procurement, inventory, logistics, maintenance and utilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or Supply Chain.
• 10‑15+ years of manufacturing experience with plant operations leadership.
• Background in lubricants, greases, chemicals, petrochemicals or automotive fluids preferred.
• Proven experience across procurement, warehousing, logistics, maintenance, engineering and HSE.
