Operations Services Technician

About the role

The Operations Services Technician supports well workover activities by preparing, surveying, and modifying surface facilities. The role ensures all tasks are carried out safely and in line with ADNOC's operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Survey surface facilities related to workover wells and produce schematic drawings showing pipe supports and measurements.
• Dismantle and reinstate pipelines, supports, CP cables, and associated fittings within a 100 m radius of the wellhead.
• Coordinate minor modification work with the pipeline team under supervision.
• Generate “as‑built” schematics to update technical drawings.
• Manage material, spares, and consumables in local stores, raising documentation for issue or procurement.
• Assist the supervisor in maintaining an efficient workshop supporting well‑service activities.
• Prepare and maintain records, files, and statements related to well services and administrative tasks.
• Follow departmental KPIs, optimise resource use, and ensure safety of subordinates.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in a relevant field or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate.
• Minimum of 4 years (48 months) experience in well workover or related surface‑facility operations.
• Good knowledge of safety rules and regulations governing oil‑and‑gas operations.
