Operations Support Engineer

About the role

The Operations Support Engineer will support oil & gas pipeline projects, working both on‑site in the field and at the head office. The role involves technical coordination, documentation, and ensuring smooth execution of GRP‑pipe construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with pipeline hydro‑testing and GRP‑pipe construction activities.
• Read and extract Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from pipe isometrics.
• Maintain accurate filing and document control for project records.
• Collaborate with service providers, contractors, and internal teams across all levels.
• Monitor project schedules, manage time‑critical tasks, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Provide technical support for oil & gas, piping, and GRP‑pipe projects.

Required profile

• Age between 24 and 40 years.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
• UAE driving licence.
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Required skills

• Mechanical Engineering knowledge.
• Oil & Gas sector familiarity.
• Piping and GRP‑pipe construction expertise.
• Pipeline hydro‑testing procedures.
• Ability to read pipe isometrics and extract BOQ.
