Operations Training & Onboarding Specialist

About the role

As an Associate Operations Training & Onboarding specialist at instashop, you will support the delivery and execution of onboarding and training programs for riders, pickers and operational teams. You will work closely with other teams so that new and existing team members complete mandatory requirements and are ready to perform effectively in their roles.

Key responsibilities

• Support the execution of onboarding programs for riders, pickers and operational teams, ensuring timely completion of mandatory training and deployment requirements.
• Deliver onboarding, refresher and operational training sessions according to approved training plans, SOPs and business requirements.
• Maintain training materials, attendance records, assessments and certification data, keeping them accurate and up to date.
• Monitor trainee performance, identify knowledge or skill gaps, escalate recurring issues and support targeted coaching or retraining.
• Track training completion and post-training performance and share regular updates and insights with the Specialist and Operations teams.
• Support training improvement initiatives and operational projects, including employee engagement, feedback collection, process improvements and other initiatives led by the Specialist.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience, with at least 1 year in Training, L&D or a related function within operations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi and Urdu.
• Experience with e-learning platforms.
• Time management, organisational, interpersonal and customer service skills, plus problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
• Ability to evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
