Operator – Utilities (DGD)

About the role

Operate and monitor the process plant and utilities facilities in the assigned area, ensuring compliance with operating procedures and ADNOC’s health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out operational tasks safely according to Standard Operating Procedures, including routine equipment checks and reporting defects.
• Adjust and monitor speeds, temperatures, pressures and flow rates to support shutdown and start‑up operations.
• Prepare plant equipment for maintenance and coordinate with supervisors to ensure proper functioning.
• Receive chemicals, maintain stock registers and prepare chemical batches while following HSE rules.
• Obtain work permits, monitor contractor activities and act as Auxiliary Fireman or Site Safety Officer during emergencies.
• Prepare KPI checklists and contribute to performance reporting for management.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in a relevant field or a Secondary School Certificate.
• At least 4 years of plant operations experience in a large oil‑and‑gas industrial facility.
• Knowledge of HSE policies, ability to work in an A/C environment and occasional exposure to site weather conditions.
