Operator – Wireline Truck & Crane Operations

About the role

The Operator will safely drive wireline trucks and cranes to execute wireline land operations on schedule, supporting ADNOC Drilling’s logging services in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Drive wireline trucks and light vehicles between base camp and job sites.
• Perform wireline operations, including rig‑up and rig‑down of equipment and tools.
• Monitor X‑Over selection and ensure correct X‑Tree sizing.
• Carry out operational checklists and verify hydraulic oil and fluid levels.
• Allocate safety equipment and signage at the work location.
• Check HSE passports for crew members before departing to the workshop.
• Attend regular job briefings and debriefings with the supervisor.
• Maintain a tidy, obstruction‑free work area and clean the truck after use.
• Connect and disconnect pressure control equipment before and after operations.
• Record wire logs, prepare daily reports, and complete client checklists.

Required profile

• Diploma in a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as an operator in a professional logging company.
• Good knowledge of basic tool checking, hydraulics and safety procedures.
• Completion of all HSE courses required for logging operations.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.
