Optical Technician – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Optical Technician to join our Abu Dhabi store. The role involves delivering high‑quality optical services, from lens cutting to final fitting, while supporting the sales team and maintaining inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Cut, glaze and fit ophthalmic lenses according to prescriptions and frame specifications.
• Adjust frames and perform basic repairs.
• Conduct quality checks on lenses and frames, identifying any defects.
• Process optical orders in the system and ensure timely delivery.
• Manage and replenish RX lens stock, performing regular inventory checks.
• Maintain optical equipment, follow safety guidelines, and clean the workshop at the end of each day.
• Report damaged lenses, incidents or technical issues promptly.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification or certification in Optical Technology (preferred).
• Minimum two years of optical experience in the UAE.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
