OSM Fabricator – Plastic Pipe Manufacturing

About the role

Georg Fischer’s GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions division is seeking an OSM Fabricator to join its Dubai manufacturing team. You will be responsible for fabricating a range of plastic piping products to meet customer specifications while supporting safe, efficient shop‑floor operations.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and fabricate HDPE, ECTFE, PVDF, PPH, PPR and PVC piping components using butt fusion, electro‑fusion, infrared welding, sidewall fusion, socket fusion, extrusion welding and cementing methods.
• Monitor machine output and shop‑floor productivity, ensuring all production documentation is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Operate and maintain cutting equipment, bandsaws and other power tools to cut pipes, hollow bars, solid rods and sheets to required dimensions.
• Perform joint work on‑site as needed while adhering to HSE guidelines.
• Ensure safe operation of all machinery and tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on fabrication experience, preferably with plastic pipes and fittings in a construction or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand pipe and fitting specification drawings.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a commitment to meeting production deadlines.
• Good verbal communication skills in English.
