OT/IoT Security Engineer – L3 (Senior)

About the role

DXC Technology is looking for an experienced OT/IoT Security Engineer (Level 3) to design, implement and monitor cybersecurity controls for operational technology, industrial control systems and connected smart devices in the UAE. You will work on a complex environment, ensuring the safety and availability of critical infrastructure while integrating with enterprise SOC and MDR capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and support security controls across OT, ICS, IoT and related technology ecosystems.
• Perform asset discovery, inventory, classification, risk assessment and continuous security monitoring.
• Design and maintain secure network segmentation, zones, conduits, firewall policies and controlled IT/OT connectivity.
• Configure and manage OT/IoT visibility platforms and monitor security events from devices, gateways, sensors and controllers.
• Assess vulnerabilities, balance operational constraints and support integration with SIEM, SOC/MDR, IAM and other security platforms.
• Develop detection use‑cases for OT/IoT‑specific threats and provide L3 troubleshooting for complex incidents.
• Collaborate with network, infrastructure, smart‑systems, vendor and engineering teams while maintaining documentation and architecture diagrams.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of hands‑on cybersecurity experience, preferably in OT/IoT environments.
• Strong understanding of industrial protocols, safety considerations and operational availability.
• Proven ability to work independently and lead technical investigations.
