Pain Medicine Physician – Dubai, UAE

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pain Medicine Physician to join a leading healthcare facility in Dubai. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive pain assessment, diagnosis, and management for acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions, working within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pain assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pain conditions, including musculoskeletal, neuropathic, spinal, post‑operative, and cancer‑related pain.
• Develop individualized, evidence‑based pain management plans that incorporate pharmacological, interventional, physical, and behavioral therapies.
• Perform or supervise interventional procedures such as nerve blocks, trigger‑point injections, and epidural injections.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging (X‑ray, MRI, CT) and laboratory results to guide treatment.
• Coordinate rehabilitation plans with physiatrists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and psychologists.
• Provide pain management for palliative‑care patients when required.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or equivalent qualification in Pain Medicine or related specialty.
• Proven experience in interventional pain procedures and multidisciplinary pain management.
• Strong clinical judgment with a patient‑centered approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with anesthesiologists, neurologists, surgeons, physiatrists, and other specialists.
