Painter (Hotel Maintenance)

About the role

The Painter will support hotel operations by responding to guest repair requests, performing painting and surface‑preparation tasks, and carrying out routine maintenance across guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to guest repair requests and communicate resolutions.
• Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood‑trim repairs.
• Replace light bulbs, air‑conditioning filters and other small items.
• Carry out basic plumbing tasks such as plunging toilets and unclogging drains.
• Handle simple electrical work including lamp replacement and switching outlets.
• Use lockout/tagout procedures before any maintenance work.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and requisition parts as needed.
• Document daily activities and hand over information to the next shift.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of air‑conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and carpentry.
• Ability to follow safety, security and company policies.
• Professional appearance and good communication with guests and team members.
