Painter – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

AccorHotel is looking for a skilled Painter to maintain and enhance the aesthetic appeal of its hotel facilities in Dubai. You will work on both interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring high‑quality finishes that meet the brand’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute painting projects in public spaces, guest rooms, and exterior surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as needed.
• Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired results and maintain consistency across projects.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and sprayers with precision and efficiency.
• Perform touch‑ups and repairs on existing painted surfaces.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, caring for tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate schedules and minimize disruptions.
• Adhere to safety protocols and handle painting materials properly.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years of professional painting experience, preferably in hospitality or commercial settings.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, carry, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in painting techniques, including color mixing, application methods, and surface preparation.
• Extensive knowledge of paint types, finishes, and appropriate uses.
• Experience with timber treatments and specialty coating applications.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and proper handling of painting materials.
