Palace Host

About the role

The Palace Host is the primary point of contact for in‑house guests at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from arrival to departure. This full‑time position blends guest service, operational coordination, and proactive hospitality to uphold the resort’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage arrival and departure procedures according to the Palace Host SOP manual.
• Build rapport with guests, maintain guest history files, and anticipate preferences.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Activities, and Spa teams to exceed guest expectations.
• Upsell rooms and additional resort services.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints efficiently, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Maintain privacy, security, and safety of guest areas and equipment.
• Operate hotel buggies and pass the required buggy driving test.
• Keep pantry areas stocked and operational, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly managed.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining consistency, fairness, and respect.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to collaborate closely with multiple departments.

Required skills

• Buggy driving certification.
