Palace Host (Seasonal, 6 months)

About the role

The Palace Host is a seasonal, six‑month position at Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort, part of the Anantara brand under Minor Hotels. You will be the primary point of contact for in‑house guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage arrival and departure procedures according to SOPs.
• Maintain guest privacy, security, and accurate guest history records.
• Coordinate with Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Activities, and Spa teams to exceed guest expectations.
• Upsell rooms and ancillary services, handle guest feedback promptly.
• Drive hotel buggies safely after passing the required test.
• Maintain pantry supplies, equipment, and work tools.
• Report any issues to the Duty Manager and take corrective actions for safety.

• Passionate about genuine hospitality, warmth, and generosity.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to anticipate guest needs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Willingness to drive hotel buggies and pass the driving test.
