Palliative Care Specialist – Dubai

About the role

German Integrative Medical Centre, in collaboration with Tadawi Hospital, is seeking a qualified and compassionate Palliative Care Specialist to join its multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. This role provides high-quality palliative and supportive care focusing on patient comfort, symptom management, quality of life, and comprehensive care planning.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients requiring palliative and supportive care services.
• Develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical best practices.
• Provide symptom management and supportive treatment aimed at improving patient comfort and quality of life.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Participate in case discussions, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, supportive care options, and ongoing management.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with DHA and UAE healthcare regulations.
• Adhere to hospital policies, clinical protocols, and professional standards of practice.

Required profile

• MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification from a recognized institution.
• Valid DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter of Palliative Care Specialist.
• Demonstrated experience or training in palliative, supportive, or chronic care management.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
