Part-Time Assistant Professor – School of Management

About the role

Canadian University Dubai is seeking a part‑time Assistant Professor for the School of Management for the Fall Semester 2026–2027. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching across a range of management and business disciplines and contributing to the academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate courses, preparing and delivering lectures, seminars, case discussions and applied learning activities.
• Develop and use appropriate teaching materials, assessments and learning resources.
• Assess student performance, provide timely and constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of attendance and grades.
• Support student learning through consultation, academic guidance and appropriate student support.
• Participate in academic meetings, course coordination activities and quality‑assurance processes as required.

Required profile

• PhD from an accredited university in a relevant discipline (management, business, finance, accounting, economics, marketing, HR, leadership or related field).
• Demonstrated experience teaching undergraduate (and where applicable graduate) courses in higher education.
• Strong communication skills in English and a commitment to student‑centred, inclusive teaching.
• Evidence of effective teaching, student engagement and ability to link theory with business practice.
• Relevant industry, consulting or professional experience is preferred.
