Part-Time Legal Counsel – Fintech & Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Legal Counsel to join a leading fintech and financial services organization in Abu Dhabi. The role supports the company’s commercial and regulatory activities, ensuring legal compliance while operating in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, vendor contracts and service agreements.
• Provide legal advice on regulatory, compliance and corporate governance matters specific to financial services and fintech.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and contractual obligations.
• Support documentation for procurement, operational activities and financial services initiatives.
• Coordinate with external counsel and liaise with regulatory authorities as required.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Background in financial services, fintech, banking, payments or other regulated entities.
• Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment.
• Strong understanding of commercial contracts and regulatory frameworks.
