Parts Advisor – Automotive Inventory & Procurement

About the role

The Parts Advisor will support BYD’s electric mobility business within Al-Futtaim Automotive by ensuring cost‑effective sourcing, accurate inventory management and timely parts availability for service, repairs and vehicle refurbishment across multiple brands.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate perpetual and annual parts inventories while avoiding over‑stocking.
• Source cost‑effective parts for servicing, repairs and used‑vehicle refurbishment.
• Process purchase orders, goods receipts and invoice verification accurately and on time.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, brand partners and suppliers to support stock planning, reporting and parts availability for sales and service teams.
• Prepare stock, savings, purchasing and customer‑service reports and contribute to inventory cost control and profitability targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• 3‑4 years of experience in automotive parts or inventory management.
• Practical knowledge of automotive parts, procurement and inventory processes.
• UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service orientation.
