Parts Advisor – Automotive Parts Specialist

About the role

The Parts Advisor plays a critical role in Al Ghurair’s automotive service operations, ensuring that the right components are available for every repair job. Working closely with technicians and service advisors, the role combines parts expertise with strong customer service to support efficient workshop performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and supply the correct automotive parts based on vehicle specifications and repair requirements, ensuring accuracy and compatibility.
• Support workshop technicians and Service Advisors by providing timely parts availability, reducing vehicle downtime and enhancing service efficiency.
• Handle both retail and internal parts inquiries professionally, delivering clear information and appropriate solutions to customers and staff.
• Prepare detailed parts quotations and process orders accurately, maintaining proper documentation and follow‑up throughout the transaction.
• Monitor parts stock levels, follow up on backorders and urgent requirements, and proactively communicate status to relevant parties.
• Maintain inventory control and stock accuracy through regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of physical and system records.
• Coordinate with warehouse and procurement teams to replenish parts, ensuring seamless receiving, storage, issuing, and documentation procedures.
• Promote parts sales by identifying revenue opportunities, cross‑selling complementary items, and striving to meet assigned KPIs and business targets.
