Part‑Time Entrepreneurship Faculty (Fall 2026‑27)

About the role

Canadian University Dubai seeks a highly qualified part‑time faculty member to teach Entrepreneurship for the Fall Semester 2026‑2027, starting on 31 August 2026. The role involves delivering high‑quality instruction, maintaining academic standards, and supporting program development in line with university policies and UAE Ministry of Higher Education requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned Entrepreneurship courses (up to 6 credit hours per semester, equivalent to two courses).
• Maintain accurate student records and submit grades at mid‑term and final periods.
• Develop, update, and file lesson plans and course syllabi within one week of semester start.
• Recommend learning resources and course materials to enhance student learning.
• Participate in curriculum review, new course development, and supervise independent studies where applicable.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert, supporting the Department Head with accreditation, resource needs, and equipment reporting.
• Stay current with developments in Entrepreneurship through professional engagement.
• Attend faculty and departmental meetings, orientation sessions, and community‑engagement initiatives.
• Represent the university in professional and academic forums as requested.

Required profile

• Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Demonstrated record of effective teaching and research publications in Scopus‑indexed journals.
• Preference for candidates with Canadian academic affiliation or experience.
• Commitment to the part‑time teaching schedule, limited office hours, and participation in departmental meetings.
• Ability to work within university and UAE Ministry of Higher Education guidelines.
