About the role

The Pastry & Bakery Commis I supports the pastry team in daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and quality at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare food items according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
• Assist the Chef de Partie/Demi Chef de Partie in developing and adhering to standard recipes.
• Participate in product development and support smooth kitchen operations.
• Apply sound knowledge of pastry & bakery techniques and food‑service sanitation.
• Maintain complete knowledge and compliance with Four Seasons Food Standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork and a positive attitude at all times.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by the Sous Chef or Executive Pastry Chef.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role within a luxury brand.
• Outgoing personality with a can‑do approach.
• High level of understanding of kitchen operations.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
