Patient Admin Executive

About the role

The Patient Admin Executive ensures smooth front‑desk operations at Royal Women Hospital Abu Dhabi, greeting patients, directing them to the right departments, and handling routine inquiries. This role combines patient interaction, appointment coordination, and financial processing to support high‑quality care delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome patients, provide hospital information, and guide them to appropriate services.
• Answer telephone calls, record inquiries, and forward messages to doctors or nurses.
• Manage appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, confirming, and handling no‑shows.
• Register new patients and keep existing records up‑to‑date in the Hospital Information System.
• Explain insurance coverage, collect co‑payments, and issue claim forms when required.
• Process daily cash, credit‑card slips, and cheque deposits, ensuring accurate financial handling.
• Generate and process patient invoices, verify charges, and provide billing statements.
• Monitor email inbox, respond to queries promptly, and maintain a clean reception area.
• Handle complaints professionally, adhering to privacy and quality standards.
• Participate in training, quality‑improvement activities, and follow NMC and JCI regulations.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work accurately under pressure and maintain confidentiality.
• Familiarity with hospital administrative procedures and insurance processes.
• Attention to detail in data entry and financial transactions.
