Patient Administration Executive

About the role

The Patient Administration Executive is the first point of contact for visitors at Royal Khalifa City Hospital. You will ensure smooth patient flow, provide accurate information, and support the administrative needs of clinical teams.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to the appropriate departments and deliver routine hospital information.
• Answer telephone inquiries, record messages and forward them to the relevant doctor or nurse.
• Manage appointments, including confirming bookings, handling no‑shows and rescheduling patients.
• Register new patients and keep existing patient records up‑to‑date.
• Explain medical‑insurance coverage, collect co‑payments and issue claim forms when required.
• Process daily cash, credit‑card slips and cheque deposits in accordance with finance protocols.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic schedules and doctors’ duty rosters.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with a patient‑focused attitude.
• Ability to handle multiple phone calls and in‑person requests simultaneously.
• Attention to detail for accurate patient registration and financial transactions.
• Basic understanding of medical‑insurance procedures and reimbursement processes.
• Familiarity with hospital administrative workflows and scheduling.
