Patient Administration Executive

About the role

The Patient Administration Executive provides front‑line support to patients and clinical teams at Royal Women Hospital Abu Dhabi. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth appointment scheduling, accurate record keeping, and efficient financial transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Greet patients, direct them to appropriate departments and answer routine inquiries.
• Manage telephone calls, relay messages to doctors or nurses, and handle email queries promptly.
• Schedule appointments, manage no‑shows, reschedule patients and send confirmations.
• Register new patients, maintain up‑to‑date records, and ensure confidentiality.
• Explain insurance coverage, collect co‑payments, provide claim forms and process reimbursements.
• Handle daily cash, credit‑card and cheque deposits in accordance with finance protocols.
• Maintain knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic timings, doctor rosters and booking procedures.
• Generate and process patient invoices, issue bills, and assist patients with payment options.
• Address complaints professionally, adhere to NMC and JCI regulations, and support quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Understanding of medical insurance processes and hospital billing.
• Commitment to patient confidentiality and privacy regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Hospital Information System.
