Patient Administration Executive

About the role

The Patient Administration Executive is responsible for delivering a seamless patient experience at Deira Medical Center. The role combines front‑desk reception duties, appointment coordination, billing and insurance processing, and daily cash handling while ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, answer telephone inquiries and provide routine hospital information.
• Manage appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, confirming and handling no‑shows.
• Register new patients, maintain up‑to‑date records and ensure confidentiality of patient data.
• Explain medical insurance coverage, collect co‑payments, issue claim forms and process reimbursements.
• Handle daily cash, credit‑card and cheque deposits, and generate accurate patient invoices.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Hospital Information System, clinic times, doctors’ rosters and booking procedures.
• Respond to email queries promptly and ensure complaints are handled professionally.
• Support continuous quality improvement and adhere to infection‑control and patient‑safety regulations.

Required profile

• College diploma in any discipline or related field.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of confidentiality and critical thinking.
• Fluent oral and written English; Arabic desirable but not essential.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems.
