About the role

The Patient Administrator supports the delivery of high‑quality patient care by efficiently handling all administrative aspects of patient management. This role focuses on appointment scheduling, registration, insurance processing, and billing while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

Manage patient appointment scheduling and registration processes.
Handle medical insurance verification and related administrative tasks.
Oversee billing, cash‑up, and financial reconciliation activities.
Deliver consistent, high‑quality customer service to patients and visitors.

Required profile

Completed secondary school education (Grade 12) – essential.
2‑3 years of customer‑service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Experience in a contact centre or medical environment is a plus.
Strong numerical literacy and knowledge of company policies and emergency codes.

Required skills

Proficiency with hospital information systems.
Experience using CRM (customer relations management) software.
Computer literacy and advanced use of MS Office applications.
