Patient Care Assistant

About the role

IIQAF Group is seeking a compassionate and reliable Patient Care Assistant to join its hospital team in Dubai. You will support patients with daily activities, ensure their comfort and safety, and assist the clinical staff in delivering high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide respectful care and assistance to patients under nursing direction.
• Help patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility, positioning, transfers and walking using appropriate equipment.
• Assist the nursing team with routine clinical and non‑clinical tasks.
• Report safety hazards, incidents or changes in patient condition promptly.
• Maintain professional conduct and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate in patient care or related field preferred.
• Ability to follow nursing instructions, care plans, hospital policies and safety procedures.
• Good observation and reporting skills.
• Compassionate, patient, responsible and professional attitude.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Team player able to work in a multidisciplinary environment.
