Patient Care Assistant

About the role

IIQAF Group is seeking a compassionate and reliable Patient Care Assistant to work in a hospital environment in Dubai. The role supports patients with daily activities, ensures their comfort and safety, and assists the nursing team with routine care tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Provide respectful care and assistance to patients under nursing direction.
• Help patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene.
• Support mobility, positioning, transfers and walking using safe patient‑handling techniques.
• Report safety hazards, incidents or changes in patient condition promptly.
• Assist the healthcare team during clinical and non‑clinical activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare‑related certificate preferred.
• Ability to follow nursing instructions, care plans and hospital policies.
• Good observation and reporting skills.
• Compassionate, patient‑focused and professional attitude.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
