Patient Care Intern – Dubai

About the role

The Patient Care Intern plays a vital role in supporting Patient Support Programs, ensuring patients receive timely, compassionate assistance throughout their treatment journey. Acting as a trusted advocate, the intern helps remove barriers to care and enhances access to medical benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the line manager and program team in managing Patient Support Programs and liaising with key stakeholders.
• Ensure timely enrolment of eligible patients according to workflow and program timelines.
• Educate and coordinate with patients to facilitate seamless enrollment and medication delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient files and electronic records, preparing regular performance reports.
• Accompany team members on visits to healthcare providers, pharmacies, or support sites.
• Report adverse events or product complaints in line with client requirements and Axios SOPs.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in a medical field or social work.
• 0‑1 year of experience in healthcare, scientific research, NGO, or customer service.
• Strong attention to order, quality, adaptability, dependability, and teamwork.
• Basic experience in data monitoring, management, or logistics is an advantage.
• Willingness to complete all required training, including product and pharmacovigilance training.
