Patient Support Program Nurse – Dubai

About the role

The Patient Support Program Nurse delivers comprehensive community‑based nursing care to patients with chronic conditions, helping them achieve optimal health and quality of life. Working under physician orders and Axios International’s policies, the nurse provides direct care, education, and monitoring for enrolled patients in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephonic follow‑up consultations and provide home‑based vital‑sign monitoring (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oximetry).
• Monitor blood glucose levels and educate patients and families on diabetes management.
• Administer medications, including injections, IVs, inhalation, oral, infusions and rectal routes, and support pain‑management regimens.
• Perform wound assessments, dressing changes, and advanced foot‑care when required.
• Carry out cardiac assessments and monitor pain control.
• Provide health teaching to families and caregivers, and supervise part‑time nurses.
• Complete pharmacovigilance and product safety training, reporting adverse events as required.
• Prepare monthly monitoring reports and quarterly quality‑assurance reports, maintaining electronic patient files.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing with a minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
• Licensed nurse registered with the UAE Ministry of Health/DHA/DOH and enrolled in the UAE nursing syndicate.
• Fluent English with strong clinical communication skills.
