Paymaster and General Cashier

About the role

Hyde Hotels in Dubai is looking for a highly organized Paymaster and General Cashier to manage cash transactions, maintain financial records, and ensure accurate payroll processing.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions, receive payments, issue receipts, and manage petty cash.
• Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Maintain detailed financial records and reconcile accounts daily.
• Operate POS systems and cash registers with precision.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and respond to employee payroll inquiries.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar cashier or paymaster role.
• Strong mathematical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of UAE financial regulations and practices (preferred).

Required skills

• Experience with the Oasys System (must).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
