Paymaster / General Cashier – Finance

About the role

Jumeirah is seeking a diligent Paymaster/General Cashier to join Zabeel House The Greens in Dubai. The role combines payroll administration with cash management, supporting the hotel’s financial integrity and compliance with UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate salaries, deductions, benefits and compliance with WPS and UAE labour law.
• Maintain and update payroll records in coordination with HR for new hires, terminations and salary adjustments.
• Reconcile payroll reports, post related journal entries and prepare documentation for audit and management review.
• Manage daily cash collections, float distribution and revenue consolidation in line with financial controls.
• Perform cash counts, reconcile cash balances, ensure timely bank deposits and accurate transaction recording.
• Maintain proper documentation and adhere to internal controls, policies and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in payroll processing and/or cash handling, preferably within hospitality.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and strong integrity.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
