Paymaster & General Cashier

About the role

Hyde Hotels is seeking a highly organized and efficient General Cashier / Paymaster to join the team in Dubai. The role involves managing cash transactions, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate payroll processing for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and managing petty cash.
• Process payroll for employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Maintain detailed financial records and reconcile accounts daily.
• Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers with precision.
• Prepare and submit regular financial reports to management.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Implement and maintain cash control procedures to prevent loss and fraud.

Required profile

• Experience with the Oasys System is a MUST.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar cashier or paymaster role.
• Proven experience in cash handling and financial record‑keeping.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Excellent customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
