Payroll Accountant – Full Time

About the role

Skynet Worldwide is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Payroll Accountant to join its finance team in the United Arab Emirates. The role is ideal for professionals with hands‑on experience managing payroll processes while ensuring accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with UAE payroll regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within scheduled timelines.
• Manage UAE WPS payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Verify salaries, allowances, overtime, deductions and leave adjustments.
• Prepare final settlements and end‑of‑service benefit calculations.
• Reconcile payroll records with accounting books and bank statements.
• Maintain accurate, organized and confidential payroll documentation.
• Coordinate with the HR team regarding new hires, resignations and salary updates.
• Prepare payroll reports and support internal and external audits.
• Respond to employee payroll‑related inquiries efficiently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of payroll experience within the UAE, including end‑of‑service calculations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE WPS and payroll procedures.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting/payroll software.
