Payroll Accountant

About the role

The Payroll Accountant will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of payroll for Al Marwan Group’s diverse operations across the GCC. You will act as the primary point of contact for payroll‑related queries while safeguarding confidentiality and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll, including overtime, statutory deductions, pension contributions, leave encashments and final settlements.
• Maintain payroll records in line with company policies and UAE Labour Law, as well as emirate‑specific pension regulations.
• Provide employee support by investigating and resolving payroll discrepancies and answering salary‑related inquiries.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and documentation for internal and external auditors.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure data accuracy and support system improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum two years of payroll experience within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE payroll practices, labour regulations and statutory compliance.
• Excellent attention to detail, confidentiality and communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with payroll software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
