Payroll Associate – CRO (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Payroll Associate – CRO will support ADIB’s payroll and finance functions in Abu Dhabi, focusing on accurate processing of staff accounts, payroll transactions and compliance with UAE banking regulations. This entry‑level position is open to fresh graduate UAE nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Handle staff account inquiries, open and close accounts, ensure KYC compliance and complete required forms.
• Process finance account documentation, prepare applications, obtain approvals and enter data into systems.
• Enter payroll and overtime transactions, prepare payment memos, invoices and advance leave salary reports.
• Assist in the preparation of journal vouchers, general ledger entries and related financial reports.
• Support internal audit and ICD comment responses related to financial products and staff services.
• Ensure adherence to ADIB policies, operational controls and regulatory requirements.
• Identify workflow improvements and recommend changes to the branch manager at least annually.

Required profile

• Broad knowledge of ADIB’s retail banking products and services.
• Understanding of UAE banking practices, Central Bank regulations and operational policies.
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and comply with internal controls.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
