Pediatric Clinical Psychologist

About the role

A leading multidisciplinary healthcare provider in Dubai is recruiting an experienced Pediatric Clinical Psychologist through Intelligent Solutions. The role suits a psychologist with 18+ years of clinical experience and strong expertise in pediatric and developmental psychology, supporting children and adolescents and working with families and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents.
• Conduct and interpret ADOS assessments and contribute to autism diagnostic evaluations.
• Develop personalised treatment and intervention plans based on clinical assessments.
• Provide psychological therapy and behavioural support where appropriate.
• Work closely with parents, caregivers, schools and other healthcare professionals.
• Prepare accurate clinical documentation, assessment reports and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech & Language Therapists, Physiotherapists and other clinicians.
• Advise families on guidance and recommendations based on assessment outcomes.

Required profile

• DHA licensed Clinical Psychologist (mandatory).
• 18+ years of professional clinical experience.
• Extensive experience working with children and adolescents.
• Proven experience with children presenting with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, learning difficulties and behavioural or emotional challenges.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary pediatric team.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Required skills

• ADOS training and certification, with practical experience conducting autism assessments.
• Strong background in pediatric clinical psychology and developmental assessments.
• Expertise in psychological assessment, diagnosis, clinical formulation and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient and family-focused approach.
