Pediatric Gastroenterologist

About the role

A leading group of hospitals in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly qualified Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join its growing team of specialists. The position offers flexibility on a full‑time or part‑time basis within a well‑established healthcare network.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a wide range of pediatric gastrointestinal and liver conditions.
• Conduct outpatient consultations and follow‑up care.
• Perform pediatric GI procedures and endoscopic interventions where applicable.
• Collaborate with pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians, and other specialists to deliver integrated patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical service development.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Medical Degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) with recognized specialization in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
• Board Certification or equivalent qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
• Eligibility for DOH licensure or currently licensed in the UAE.
• Proven experience in managing pediatric gastroenterology cases in a hospital or specialty clinic setting.
• Excellent communication and patient‑care skills.
• Arabic language skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
