Pediatric Psychologist – Rehabilitation Team

About the role

The Psychologist joins a multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitation team to design and deliver evidence‑based interventions that enhance children’s emotional, behavioral, cognitive and adaptive functioning across home, school and community settings.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive, age‑appropriate psychological and developmental assessments using validated tools.
• Perform functional behavioral assessments (FBA) and develop individualized behavior support plans incorporating ABA principles.
• Provide direct psychological and behavioral interventions for children with autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, developmental delays and related conditions.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, educators and families to ensure coordinated, family‑centered care.
• Monitor outcomes through systematic data collection, analysis and documentation, adjusting interventions as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology plus a postgraduate qualification meeting DOH Psychology license requirements.
• Master’s degree or higher in Clinical, Child, Developmental or related Psychology.
• 3+ years of clinical experience with pediatric neurodevelopmental populations.
• Valid DOH Psychology license and BLS Provider Certificate.
• Recognized ABA certification (e.g., BCBA) or equivalent.
