People and Development Manager

About the role

As People and Development Manager at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, you will shape learning, growth and brand experience for hotel staff, working closely with People & Culture and hotel leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Own the hotel’s learning & development plan, aligning people priorities with business needs.
• Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences across service, behavioral and leadership development.
• Partner with leaders to identify development needs and deliver practical solutions.
• Maintain mandatory learning records and ensure compliance.
• Support talent identification, internal growth, succession planning and coaching.
• Stay present in the hotel to understand operations and drive service improvement through development.

Required profile

• Experience in People Development, Learning & Development or Talent Development, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Confident facilitation style with ability to engage all levels.
• Proven track record creating onboarding and development programmes.
• Good understanding of hotel operations in a fast‑paced environment.
• Creative, curious and able to turn ideas into action.
• Collaborative, people‑first mindset with passion for helping others grow.
