People and Development Manager

About the role

As People and Development Manager at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, you will shape learning, growth and brand experience for hotel staff. You will partner with People & Culture and hotel leaders to design relevant, engaging development programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Own the hotel’s learning & development plan, aligning people priorities with business needs.
• Create and facilitate engaging learning experiences across service, behavioural and leadership development.
• Partner with leaders to identify talent, support internal mobility and succession planning.
• Maintain mandatory learning records, monitor compliance and address gaps promptly.
• Be present on the hotel floor to understand operations and identify development opportunities that improve guest experience.

Required profile

• Experience in People Development, Learning & Development or Talent Development, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Confident facilitation style with ability to engage all staff levels.
• Good understanding of hotel operations and fast‑paced environment.
• Creative, curious and able to turn ideas into action.
• Collaborative, people‑first mindset with passion for helping others grow.
