People Systems Lead

About the role

Taaleem is looking for a People Systems Lead who is passionate about HR technology, automation, and enhancing the employee experience. Reporting to the People Operations Manager, you will shape the strategic direction of the organisation's people technology landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, governance and continuous improvement of all People systems, including Oracle Fusion, Talentera, BlueSky and future platforms.
• Drive digital transformation and automation across the employee lifecycle to reduce manual administration.
• Ensure data governance, system integrity and seamless integration with other business applications.
• Produce reporting and analytics that support strategic decision‑making.
• Champion user experience, adoption and training for all system users.
• Manage vendor relationships, releases and upgrades.
• Identify and implement innovative technologies to future‑proof the People ecosystem.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience administering and developing enterprise HR systems.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle, HRIS, Project Management) are a plus.
• Strong commitment to child protection and safeguarding policies.
