Performance Director (Paid Media)

About the role

We are seeking a Performance Director to lead paid media strategy, budget ownership, and the buying team across multiple e‑commerce brands. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on execution, ensuring profitable growth through experimentation, strong unit economics, and scalable systems.

Key responsibilities

• Own paid media strategy and budget allocation across Meta, Google, TikTok and Amazon.
• Lead and mentor the buying team, fostering a data‑driven culture.
• Drive experimentation across creatives, audiences, bidding, and landing pages.
• Scale winning campaigns using performance insights and analytics.
• Manage measurement, attribution and tracking (GA4, GTM, CAPI, server‑side).
• Partner with Analytics, Creative, Product and POD teams.
• Present performance insights, forecasts and growth recommendations to leadership.

Required profile

• 8+ years in Performance Marketing with 4+ years managing paid‑media teams.
• Strong expertise in Meta Ads and Google Ads.
• Experience with TikTok Ads and Amazon Marketplace advertising.
• Proven success scaling e‑commerce/DTC brands.
• Deep understanding of ROAS, CAC, MER, LTV, contribution margin and profitability.
• Hands‑on knowledge of GA4, GTM, CAPI and attribution.
• Comfortable leading strategy while directly optimizing campaigns.
