Permit to Work Coordinator

About the role

The Permit to Work (PTW) Coordinator will manage and implement the PTW system for high‑risk activities, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Onshore standards and the company’s safety policies. This role requires strong technical knowledge, risk assessment expertise, and the ability to produce detailed reports.

Key responsibilities

• Manage issuance, monitoring, and closure of work permits in line with ADNOC Onshore guidelines.
• Prepare and submit detailed PTW activity reports using MS Excel and MS Word.
• Review and interpret technical drawings to verify safety and operational requirements.
• Conduct and document Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and Field Risk Assessments (FRA).
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and promote a safety‑first culture.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain clear communication of safety protocols.
• Maintain and validate certifications, including mandatory WMS certification.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience in Permit to Work coordination or a similar role, preferably on ADNOC Onshore projects.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, safety, or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
• Advanced skills in MS Office applications.
• Mandatory WMS certification; additional safety certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are advantageous.
