Pharmaceutical Packaging Machine Operator

About the role

Julphar is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to run and maintain packaging equipment in its Dubai pharmaceutical facility. The role ensures compliance with cGMP, SOPs and EHS standards while delivering high‑quality, safe products.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and organize packaging machines and lines according to SOPs.
• Follow gowning procedures and perform line clearance before each batch.
• Operate machinery, monitor production, and clean equipment as required.
• Weigh products using calibrated scales and verify bulk and packaging material against dispensing sheets.
• Document batch packaging activities and report any technical faults immediately.
• Maintain line cleanliness between batches and at shift end.
• Apply EMS and HSE practices, use appropriate PPE, and contribute to environmental risk reduction.
• Support line capacity monitoring to maximise efficiency.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to read and write English at a functional level.

Required skills

• Mechanical equipment operation and maintenance.
• Understanding of cGMP and SOP compliance.
• Computer basics for data entry and documentation.
