Pharmacist – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a qualified pharmacist to join our pharmacy in Abu Dhabi. The role involves compounding and dispensing medications, monitoring drug therapies, and providing health services to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Compounding and dispensing medications as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing about potential side effects.
• Instructing customers on proper medication usage and timing.
• Conducting health and wellness screenings.
• Providing medical services such as blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar measurements.
• Keeping accurate customer records and ensuring a safe, clean working environment.
• Verifying order entries, maintaining controlled substance records, and removing expired or damaged drugs.
• Adhering to legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
• Performing other administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or pharmacology.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist.
• Flexible with location and timing.
• Experience in OTC sales, cross‑selling, and upselling.
• DOH or HAAD license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Detailed understanding of dosage requirements, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
