Pharmacovigilance Specialist

About the role

Your work will directly safeguard patients by ensuring the safety of medicines that millions depend on every day. As a Pharmacovigilance Specialist in the UAE you will collect, assess and report safety information for Novo Nordisk products in line with local and global regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Qualified Person for Pharmacovigilance (QPPV) for Novo products in the UAE.
• Maintain the PV system in accordance with internal SOPs and local regulations.
• Report adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to Global Safety and UAE EDE within set timelines.
• Handle technical complaints and manage safety data exchange agreements with partners.
• Provide periodic training on safety information to UAE employees and external vendors.
• Submit PSURs and RMPs to the local authority and review the local PV safety mailbox daily.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (essential).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmacovigilance.
• Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of local and global pharmacovigilance regulations.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
