Pharmacy Assistant (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are looking for a Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacists in Abu Dhabi. The role involves handling prescriptions, managing stock, and providing excellent customer service under supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Receive prescriptions and direct clinical queries to the licensed pharmacist.
• Assist in preparing, labeling, and organizing medicines according to procedures.
• Retrieve medicines and healthcare products accurately for verification.
• Process sales transactions, issue receipts and handle approved payment methods.
• Maintain accurate records of sales, stock movements, invoices and other pharmacy documentation.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages, near‑expiry items and manage replenishment.
• Receive deliveries, verify quantities and store products correctly, ensuring proper temperature and safety conditions.
• Conduct regular expiry‑date checks and separate expired, damaged or recalled items.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organized and professionally presented.
• Assist customers with product location enquiries and refer medical advice to the pharmacist.
• Coordinate with pharmacists, warehouse teams, suppliers and other departments.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and company information and comply with all relevant policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology.
• Strong organizational abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and pharmacy software applications.
