Physical Education Teacher – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a Physical Education teacher to join its network of schools for the 2027/2028 academic year. The role involves creating a nurturing, play‑based environment that inspires students to achieve academic, social and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging PE lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater for the full ability range.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess and record student progress using Target Tracker and provide feedback to parents.
• Collaborate with colleagues, curriculum support staff and external professionals such as therapists and educational psychologists.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and curriculum action groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Commitment to the well‑being of children and a clean enhanced DBS/police check.
• Passion for educating the whole child and recent involvement in extracurricular activities.
